Free Legal Aid Office Hours

The Students' Association employs a lawyer to provide legal aid services to SDSU students on legal practices including rental agreements, citizenship procedures, and other legal matters. Legal aid office hours resumed and will be taking place every Wednesday from 3:00pm - 6:00pm in the Students' Association Office. Please reach out to sdsu.sachiefofstaff@sdstate.edu to schedule an appointment.

"Dear Evan Hansen" Movie Showing

Join us for a captivating cinematic experience as we present the highly anticipated "Dear Evan Hansen" movie! Immerse yourself in the emotional journey of this touching story that delves into themes of connection, authenticity, and the impact of our actions on others, all set to a moving musical score. The movie will be at the Sylvan Green on Friday, September 22nd, at 7:30pm!  Sponsored by the University Program Council.

Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run

Join UPC for a meaningful and impactful event that's close to our hearts – the Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run. Lace up your sneakers and gather your friends, to raise awareness and funds for those fighting the battle against cancer. Registration opens September 3rd.

 

Student registration costs $10 and Community Member registration costs $15. 

 

The race will start at McCrory Gardens. Please check-in at 12:00pm. Each runner will receive a t-shirt upon arrival if preregistered, others will receive it on a first come first serve basis. We will begin the race clock at 12:45pm. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female runners. Please register using the link in our Instagram bio. Sponsored by the University Program Council.

Mulligan Stew Cook-Off 

Looking for a fun opportunity to hang out with your friends in your SDSU student organization? Come join us at the Mulligan Stew Event on October 10th during Hobo Week at the Volstorff Ballroom from 7:00pm-10:00pm. Compete against other student organizations with your delicious stew creations by entering in your organization’s information using the Google form link. Bring a list of your ingredients to the event and be ready to serve 200 or more people. Bowls, spoons, and serving utensils are included. Your stew will be voted on by students and faculty who come to try it out. Sponsored by the University Program Council.

Check out what the Esports Lounge has in store for you!

Esports

The Jacks® Esports Lounge is an exciting new space filled with state-of-the-art computer equipment, top-of-the-line gaming chairs, TVs, gaming consoles, and comfortable seating. All students are welcome and it's free! Located on the lower level of the Enrollment Services Center across from the Ag Heritage Museum, we offer Xbox, a PlayStation, a Nintendo Switch, 4 Oculus Virtual Reality headsets, and 12 Alienware PCs with Secret Lab Titan gaming chairs. This event is sponsored by the Miller Wellness Center.

 

We will also be hosting a Vintage Gaming Night on Friday, September 29th from 5-10pm. No registration is needed – just stop by and play!

Enjoy the autumn weather with the Chinese Students and Scholars Association!

China Night 2023

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA), will be holding a festival for Mid-Autumn! There will be Chinese food and performers to watch! The event will take place on September 24th, in the Volstoff Ballroom at 6:00pm. This event is sponsored by the Chinese Students and Scholars Association.
