The Students' Association Senate will have its weekly meeting tonight at 7:00pm in the Lewis and Clark room of the Student Union. All are welcome! Check out the links below for more information
The Students' Association is looking for feedback to make your student experience better! Fill our our anonymous form and let us know what you want to see changed on campus!
The Students' Association employs a lawyer to provide legal aid services to SDSU students on legal practices including rental agreements, citizenship procedures, and other legal matters. Legal aid office hours resumed and will be taking place every Wednesday from 3:00pm - 6:00pm in the Students' Association Office. Please reach out to sdsu.sachiefofstaff@sdstate.edu to schedule an appointment.
Want to make a sweet treat with your sweetheart or friends? Come out to McCrory Gardens from 6-9pm on Tuesday, February 14th to enjoy mocktails and s'mores while watching How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and playing Valentine's Day trivia. There are a lot of great prizes and a raffle drawing for all attendees so be sure to stop by. There will be a shuttle transporting students from the Union to McCrory so no need to worry about parking or a cold walk over.

The 100th Little International Livestock Drawing is February 8th at 7:00pm in Rotunda D! Join us for a chance to exhibit an animal in this year's centennial celebration. You must be present or have a representative attend on your behalf to be entered in the drawing. A $50 deposit is required at the drawing to reserve your animal. The deposit will be returned pending all rules have been adhered to after the event. This year's event will be March 31st and April 1st. All majors are welcomed!
The 100th Little International is now accepting photo submissions for their annual photography contest. Categories include: animals, nature/landscape, people, motion/action, and black & white. The grand prize winner will receive a large print of their entry. One people's choice winner will also be voted on by followers of the SDSU Little International's Facebook page. In additional, the top three entries in each category will be put on digital display during the weekend festivities of March 31st - April 1st and will also be featured in the 100th Little International's catalog. Submissions are due February 1st, 2022. Use the link below to submit your photos!
Jack's Cupboard will be open Tuesdays from 3:00pm - 7:00pm and is located on the southeast side on Ben Reifel Hall. Jack's Cupboard is a food pantry located on campus that serves currently enrolled students who are experiencing food insecurity.

Donate non-perishable food items with your organization to Brookings' youth! Drop off locations include the SDSU Student Union and Grace Point Wesleyan Church. The three groups with the most donations will win a prize! The donation period if from Feb. 6th - 20th. Use the link below to sign up your organization.

Jan. 30th - Hobo Day Gallery at 6:00pm
Chelsie Bakken is going to be speaking at 6:00pm in the Hobo Day Gallery. She will be discussing internships, jobs, and helpful career tips. She has a lot of great information and of course a great networking opportunity!
Feb. 7th - Brookings Bowling Alley
Join us for a social night at 7:00pm at the Brookings Bowling Alley for student night (college students get a discount). This is another great event to get to know other club members and make connections!
Applications for the Schultz-Werth Award competition are now open! The purpose of the Schultz-Werth award competing is stimulation and recognition of scholarly achievements of undergraduate students. Awards up to $2,500 will be awarded at the end of the academic year to one or more senior students.
Judging is based primarily on originality, scholarship, and creativity of the work submitted. The competition is open to all majors at SDSU - any students participating in independent scholarly or creative efforts are encourages to submit their work for consideration. The deadline for application submissions is March 1st, 2023. Find more information using the link below.
Applications for select undergraduate research funding are now open. Students pursuing original, independent research or creative efforts are encourage to apply! Research funding is available to all majors at SDSU. Support from a project mentor is required. Mentors are welcome and encouraged to offer you insight and to discuss the scope of what may be possible in a summer project, though they may not contribute to the writing of your proposal. The deadline to submit a paper for undergraduate research funding is March 15th, 2023. Find more information using the link below.
You have great resources available right at your fingertips to help you through your experience at SDSU, one of wish is the online Student Handbook. Here you can find policies, processes, information on how to get involved and details about student services and supports to make you successful. You also have many ways to report a concern both related to academics and non-academics. Finally, if you need assistant, know that we are here to help and our Student Ombudsperson and the University Ombuds Office are both resources to assist you in many different ways.
