November 24, group fitness will end at 1pm and there will be no classes on November 26. The climbing wall and pool will be closed on Friday, November 26. They will be open for normal hours on November 27 and 28.
Thanksgiving Weekend Yoga Class
Feel inspired on and off your mat. This supportive and friendly class is offered on Saturday, November 27 from 8am to 9am. It is a time to practice gratitude during this season of Thanksgiving. Instructor will work through vinyasa flows, balance poses and extended relaxation during this 60 minute class. Visiting family and friends are encouraged to attend. Day pass or membership required.

MILLER WELLNESS CENTER DEDICATION
On October 22, South Dakota State University held a renaming ceremony of the Wellness Center to Miller Wellness Center. The Miller Wellness Center was named after Dr. Peggy Gordon Miller for her legacy as President of South Dakota State University. Dr. Gordon Miller left a lasting impact as a leader- teaching SDSU employees, students, alumni, and friends on how to think bigger. "Dr. Peggy Gordon Miller and past Student Association Presidents had a vision for a dedicated space to create a holistic student. I don't think anyone imagined how the students on this campus would be impacted in so many other ways than fitness," Shari Landmark, Director of Recreation and Fitness.
