The university recently updated the permit designation for the Wellness Center parking lot (Lot 163). Previously, students and employees were required to hold a Standard Commuter permit to park in the lot. Lot 163 is now designated as an Economy Commuter lot, allowing a larger number of students and employees to utilize the parking area.
While an increase in daily parking demand is anticipated, reserved member parking spaces will continue to be available. If all reserved spaces are occupied, members may park in any available non-reserved space within the lot.
Should Lot 163 reach capacity, additional parking is available in the University Police Department (UPD) lot located across the street.
